Remote Killer Drone Command Still Operating in Horsham from PA Air Guard Station.
That Means
U.S. Killer Drones are doing still doing what they were designed, imagined, and built to for: KILL!
U.S. remote Killer drone operations, like the remote command in Horsham, PA, still does what they were established to do: Make War!
March 2013 the U.S. Air Force announced, along with local, state, and federal officials, plans to establish a drone war command center within the 111th Fighter Wing of the Pennsylvania Air National Guard, at Horsham Air National Guard Station. The Brandywine Peace Community, Mennonite peace friends, and other peace activists from around PA, DE., and NJ, began organizing regular protest demonstrations at the Horsham Air Guard Station to “Stop the Drone War Command Center Before It Starts.”
In 2016 the Horsham Air Guard became one of the country’s 12 drone war remote command centers dotting  the continental U.S. with the ability to direct drone attacks against people across the world and thousands of miles away.
Protests continued.  Then came the Covid-19 Pandemic and the protest in Horsham happened intermittently.
It’s time for another protest in Horsham: Saturday, October 22, beginning at 1p.m. See below for information or call Bob at (215) 843-4827.  Bring your folding chair to sit.

Protests at other drone war training and command sites around the country will take place
between Oct. 15 – 22 in support of the Shut Down Creech encampment at the same time.

See Ban Killer Drones, https://bankillerdrones.org/

Banners, signs aplenty, nearby parking, stand, sit (bring a chair), make a song, do a reading, speak-out in support of the International Campaign to Ban Killer Drones.  Shut down the Remote Drone War Command in Horsham. IGNITE PEACE!

Background:

March 2013 the U.S. Air Force announced, along with local, state, and federal officials, plans to establish a drone war command center within the 111th Fighter Wing of the Pennsylvania Air National Guard, at Horsham Air National Guard Station.

The purpose of the drone war command center in Horsham is remote-controlled killing. From Horsham, computer piloted “Reaper” drones are directed to targets thousands of miles away.

These attack drones carry deadly Hellfire missiles and laser-guided bombs that are fired by computer “pilot” command from the U.S. against people across the world thousands of miles away.  Drone strikes have killed thousands of people, mostly civilians and children whose images and faces may have appeared on the pilot’s computer monitor as they died.

The multi-million-dollar drone command center in Horsham is a central part of the growing network of drone bases, training sites, and command centers, crisscrossing the U.S, funded by billions of U.S. tax dollars, and enabling remote-controlled drone strikes around the world.

Millions in federal dollars were first appropriated in October 2013 for the drone command center at the Horsham Air Guard Station.  The remote drone command became fully operational in 2016 and is now conducting drone killing ‘missions’ from the station.
