Killer Drones bring death and endless war.  August 6 is the anniversary of the atomic bombing of Hiroshima\, August 6\, 1945.\n \nPlease join us for the ANTI-WAR DRONE DEATH WALK/VIGIL on Sat.\, August 6\, 2016 from 12:00 p.m. – 1:00\, gather at 12th & Arch St across from Convention Center. \nPlease wear BLACK\, we will bring plain white masks.  Call Marge Van Cleef at 267-763-1644 if you will need a mask. While standing in the manner of a “SILENT DEATH WALK” we bring attention to the wars and the victims of drone attacks\, done in our names. We hold banners\, signs\, photos of victims\, and hand out leaflets. Three days later\, on August 9\, 1945\, more than 75\,000 people died in the atomic bombing of Nagasaki\, Japan. More than 100\,000 people died in the days and years ahead\, and continue to die\, from the radiation poisoning of the first atomic bombings. \nSaturday\, August 6\, 7:30p.m. Hiroshima Day  Sundown Peace Observance to Abolish Nuclear Weapons.  Market Street Bridge\, corner of Market Street and Schuylkill Ave.\, across from 30th Street Station (east side).\nMourn the nuclear world.\nJoin us in lighting a candle for peace over the waters below and sounding the bell\, calling for nuclear disarmament and an end to war.\n\n
