“ISRAEL/PALESTINE: DEEPENING OUR UNDERSTANDING”,
AT GERMANTOWN MONTHLY MEETING FORUM,
Saturday, January 27, at 3p.m.

Jonathan Evans and Melissa Graf-Evans, who have deep experience working in the Middle East, will speak at a Germantown Meeting Forum on Saturday, Jan. 27, at 3 p.m., in our social room. The talk will also be available on Zoom. To attend by Zoom or in person, please email Joanne Sharpless at jsharpless@germantownfriends.org to register. Speakers’ background:

Jonathan served as country representative for Catholic Relief Services in Jerusalem, the West Bank, and Gaza, and on the Ramallah Friends School (RFS) Board. He has also been advisor to the American Friends Service Committee and Friends Committee on National Lelgislation. Melissa taught English to fifth graders at Ramallah Friends School. In 2010-2019, they organized and led 10 Westtown School education trips to Israel/Palestine. In their talk, they will share their insights from working for human rights, justice, and peace in Israel, the West Bank, and Gaza.
