Charles Eisenstein, www.charleseisenstein.net, a young author (The More Beautiful World Our Hearts Know is Possible; Sacred Economics; and The Ascent of Humanity) and social philosopher, will headline a climate change workshop entitled “Earth Story, Our Story: Climate Change Calls Us to Heal Ourselves and the World,” at Central Baptist Church, 106 W. Lancaster Ave., Wayne, PA 19087 on Sat., Feb. 7, 10a.m. -2p.m.
Drawing from all religioustraditions, Eisenstein weaves for his listeners a new story of connectedness that can guide us through the coming disruptions caused by civilization’s reliance on the old story of competition and exploitation.
After lunch at 1PM, one-hour breakout sessions on Transition Towns, Local Food, Soil, Militarism, and Divestment are offered. Please come. And bring your friends! Registration and coffee 9:15; donation requested. Snow date Feb. 8, 1-5 PM (register 12:15)
