CEASE-FIRE NOW! “FRIDAYS @FETTERMAN’S” WEEKLY PEACE VIGIL CONTINUES

January 26 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

Oxfam on X: "We condemn all violence and targeting of Israeli and Palestinian civilians. As soon as it's safe, our staff and partners in Gaza will deliver water, sanitation & food. But

Unspeakable numbers of civilians have been killed by Israel’s aerial bombardment of Gaza.  U.S. tax dollars are funding a war that is causing horrific death and suffering for thousands.  Tragically , this also means the people of Israel become less secure as the vicious cycle of war and violence has no winners.

PEACEMAKERS faithfully gather outside the Philadelphia office of Senator Fetterman, 200 Chestnut Street, every Friday afternoon (12:15 pm – 1:15 pm).  Our demand is that the senator publicly supports our demand for an immediate, permanent ceasefire in Gaza, that is aligned with U.S. House Resolution 786.

Our weekly peace vigil is rooted in radical nonviolence, and we expect vigil participants to refrain from violent actions, words, or messages on signs and banners.

CEASEFIRE IN GAZA NOW!
